Três mil anos atrás, os Space Pirates Barban invadiram a Terra. As Bestas Estelares e o primeiro Gingaman, guerreiros da Floresta Ginga, lutaram contra eles com o poder místico chamado Terra e eventualmente conseguiram aprisioná-los. O povo Ginga mais tarde ocultou sua floresta dentro de limites marcados e transmitiu o dever dos guerreiros Ginga por gerações.
