Este fabuloso desenho animado dos anos 80 era todo sonho de meninas se tornando realidade. O pai de Jerrica Benton lhe deixou um presente muito especial. É a Sinergia, um sistema de projeção holográfica que pode criar ilusões de qualquer coisa, em qualquer lugar, a qualquer hora. Jerrica usa Synergy para criar Jem, seu alter ego e o vocalista de Jem e The Holograms para salvar a companhia de seu pai: Starlight Music. Esta popular série de desenhos animados narra as aventuras desta banda, bem como seus arquirrivais The Misfits e seus amigos The Stingers. A música desses três grupos é definitivamente o ponto alto do show. Jem é um desenho animado "verdadeiramente ultrajante" com uma mensagem de amor, amizade, ambição e rock-n-roll.
